Jennifer Aniston Relies On Her Friends After Split From Justin Theroux
During rocky times and tough breakups, it's a comfort to know one can always turn to friends. Friends star Jennifer Aniston feels the same.
A source tells People that the A-list actress is now relying on her best friends to help her get through her recent breakup. Aniston and former husband Justin Theroux confirmed their split after two years of marriage and seven years together.
Aniston's Pals Keep Her Company
Aniston reportedly held a celebration for her 49th birthday at close friend Courteney Cox's home on Feb. 11, a couple of days before the former couple announced their separation. To mark her special day, the former Friends costars invited a couple of their friends to hang out with them.
"Spending time at Courteney's always make her happy," the source explains, adding that while the celebration was a few days before the official split, Aniston's friends were aware of it a few weeks prior to the announcement.
Since the actress is a wonderful friend herself, her friends make sure she gets love and support from them now that she needs it. While Aniston is newly single, her pals are proof that she's definitely not alone right now.
"Jen truly has the best friends," the source says. "They are real friends that she has had for many years. They always support each other."
Even days after the separation announcement, Aniston was spotted in the company of a few of her friends at the premiere of Jason Bateman's new film Game Night. While the star opted to skip the red carpet, she made sure to show up in support of longtime buddy Bateman.
Eyewitnesses say Aniston spent most of the night with the actor and wife Amanda Anka.
Of course, the Hollywood actress is not completely dependent on her friends and she's doing her best to take care of herself as well. For the famously health-conscious star, working out is a good way to keep herself focused and happy.
Justin Emerges From Silence
Meanwhile, Theroux is also moving on, stepping out and getting seen for the first time since the breakup. The 46-year-old The Leftovers actor was spotted at a gym in New York City and getting a cup of brew with a pal.
Theroux also broke his social media silence, posting several photos of Austin's Pets Alive shelter on his Instagram page. The actor visited the no-kill shelter and shared images of his time spent with the puppies and pitbulls of Austin.
Neither Theroux nor Aniston have spoken up about the end of their marriage to the public.
