Is 'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout Ready For More Kids?
Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney appear to be preparing to welcome another child together. However, it's unclear how they intend to do so.
During the latest season of Teen Mom OG, fans watched as Bookout tragically revealed that several months ago she and McKinney had lost a baby girl after naming the child "Dande," for dandelion. Since then, they have been talking more and more about welcoming another baby and discussing their options.
In a deleted scene from Monday's show, Bookout and her husband were seen speaking about her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome, which is a condition in some women whose hormones are not in balance. The condition can also lead to difficulties conceiving and having small cysts.
"I would love more children but the thought of something happening to you or the child scares me," McKinney told Bookout during the scene.
Bookout quickly assured her husband that the problems caused by her PCOS weren't something she would be dealing with during pregnancy. Instead, the condition would simply make it harder for her to conceive. She then said that she wasn't completely against the idea of getting pregnant again.
Will Maci Bookout Adopt Her Fourth Child?
In April of last year, 25-year-old Bookout suggested that she was not open to having any more children biologically and preferred to adopt her fourth child.
“We both have talked about adoption or fostering in the future, down the road, but we’re not [having kids] biologically,” Bookout told People magazine last year. “For both of us, it’s one of those things where if we are capable of providing a stable home, healthy relationships and some hope for a child who may not have that or ever experienced it, then we want to.”
Maci Bookout Would Love To Expose Her 3 Kids to Adoption
Bookout also said that if she and McKinney are able to give a home to another child, they would love to. Plus, she added, it would be great to expose her young children to the gift of adoption at a young age.
Bookout is already mom to 8-year-old Bentley, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Ryan Edwards, and to her 2-year-old daughter Jayde and 1-year-old son Maverick, whom she shares with McKinney.
