Selena Gomez Spotted With Bible In Her Hand, Is Justin Bieber To Blame?
On the brink of her "break" from Justin Bieber and the entertainment industry, Selena Gomez apparently decides to seek some spiritual help to keep her on track.
On Thursday, March 15 TMZ spotted the singer as she made her way into Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California. Although she looked cozy and relaxed in the shots, sources said she has a huge book in her hand that is extremely noticeable.
The publication reportedly caught the "Good for You" singer holding a bible. The outlet further revealed that the title of the book is The Everyday Life Bible: The Power of God's Word for Everyday Living.
Gomez's bible is presumed to differentiate between scripture and personal experience. It should not come as surprise, however, that the "Wolves" singer would have a bible as she and Bieber were recently seen attending the same church service, but separately.
Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber's 'Break'
As previously reported, Bieber and Gomez allegedly decided to take a "break" after reconnecting in October 2017. The couple reportedly mutually agreed to do their own things for a while due to recent arguments. Also, the two feel overwhelmed with the pressure in maintaining their relationship.
"They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight, in particular, blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up,' however, they've been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed," a source said.
At first, fans believed that Gomez's mother, Mandy Teefey, was behind their decision to separate. A source revealed that Teefey has nothing to do with it, though.
Teefey has always supported Gomez's decision and relationship with the "What Do You Mean" singer despite that their relationship has been on the rocks.
However, those that think it might be the end for Jelena shouldn't lose hope. An insider claims that they plan to resume their relationship once they are both ready.
Selena Gomez MIA On Justin Bieber's Birthday
All of Gomez's 134 million Instagram followers know that she took to social media to wish the Canadian singer a happy birthday. Gomez posted a cute photo of herself smiling from ear to ear while a polaroid picture of Bieber lies on her face.
"March 1, 1994, someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom," the 25-year-old wrote.
However, the singer did not spend time with Bieber on his birthday as he was spotted with his mother, Pattie Mallette, and church pals.
