Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Blue Ivy Carter stepped out together for the 2018 Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 17.

Blue Ivy Carter Bid $19,000 On A Painting

At one point during the evening, the 6-year-old raised her paddle and bid $17,000 on an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier but it wasn't enough. After being outbid, she raised her bid by an additional $2,000, prompting Jay Z to jokingly wrestle the paddle away from her, paving the way for Tyler Perry to take home the art piece for $20,000.

"Her mother and father have been talking about how you gather art and that is a big deal for African Americans," host Star Jones told the crowd.

Little Blue did not go home empty handed though. She did walk away an art piece of her own: a 36" x 36" composite of deconstructed law and medical books by artist Samuel Levi Jones, which she claimed for $10,000. Blue wasn't the only member of the Beyoncé -Carter family to win an auction. Beyoncé also took home a pair of Lorraine Schwartz panther earrings with a winning bid of $17,000.

Beyoncé Honored With The 2018 WACO Theater Humanitarian Award

The "Lemonade" hitmaker received the 2018 WACO Theater Humanitarian Award and gave an emotional acceptance speech, in which she said that she believes humanitarian work doesn't need to be acknowledged by giving awards because "the giving is the reward and that's enough."

Before Beyoncé took the stage, the mother-of-three was welcomed by Hannah Brammer, a 17-year-old fan born with brittle bones, whom the singer has been sending birthday wishes to for years. Former first lady, Michelle Obama, also recognized Bey's humanitarian work in a pre-recorded message that was played on screen. Check out the video below:
