Donald Trump Jr. Visits Florida With His Kids Following Divorce From Wife, Vanessa
Donald Trump, Jr. is doing his best to keep his five children out of the spotlight after his divorce from wife Vanessa.
Greetings from Florida
Trump, Jr. and his five children, Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe, escaped frigid New York City and to President Trump's Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida. The sextet was in the Sunshine State to commemorate the quintet's spring break. The President's eldest son made it his mission to spend time with each of his kids and used his Instagram channel to post trip highlights.
"Trump family soccer/wrestling. I'm not sure what happened, but this degenerated very quickly. That said they're getting a workout at the start of their Spring Break so I guess it could be worse," wrote Trump, Jr. in a post that was transcribed by People Magazine.
US Weekly reported that Trump first spent time with his eldest daughter, 10-year-old Kai on Friday, March 16 for a date. Next, he organized a fishing trip with his oldest son, 9-year-old Donald III, which was documented with a selfie for his 1.1 million Instagram followers to see.
"Out with the little man and some friends," wrote Trump, Jr. in a post that was transcribed by US Weekly.
Melissa Stetten's Claims
The social media photos follow ex-model Melissa Stetten's claims that Trump, Jr. exchanged risqué tweets with her on social media in 2011. On Thursday, March 15, just hours after Trump, Jr.'s future ex-wife, Vanessa, blindsided the First Son, Stetten stated to her 47,000 Twitter followers that she did not feel sorry for the Trumps' marriage to collapse. She showed a private message that was from Trump, Jr. that was dated back Nov. 20, 2011.
Stetten stated in interviews that Trump, Jr. suddenly followed her on Twitter and she followed him back. She indicated that Trump, Jr. sometimes interacted with her on the social media platform. The former model believed that the father of five did her best to hit on him, but she did not fall for his advances.
Turning To Instagram
While Trump, Jr. has not acknowledged any of Stetten's comments, he had used Instagram to break his silence following Vanessa filing for divorce. The first selfie that Trump, Jr. involved his 3-year-old daughter, Chloe. Trump, Jr.'s youngest child looked like she was wearing a Spider-Man t-shirt, while her father flashed a thumb up, that was blurred by the real estate mogul's phone.
Splitting Up The Family
On Thursday, March 15, Trump, Jr. and Vanessa released a joint statement that announced their separation. The former couple also pleaded with the media to showcase their courtesy to their family. Many people believe that the couple had been drifting apart since the election as Trump, Jr. has been traveling across the world representing the Trump organization.
Also, many believe that the last straw for the couple came after Vanessa found mysterious white powder and a threatening note in their apartment last month. According to the New York Police Department, the mysterious powder was revealed to be cornstarch.
