Kanye West Is Back On Twitter, Tweets About Lamar Odom And More
Kanye West makes a rousing comeback on Twitter with a series of tweets, including a post showing love to his former brother-in-law Lamar Odom.
The men of the Kardashians seem to stick together for better or for worse. Odom's relationship with Khloe Kardashian has long been over, but Kim's beau Kanye seems to still think fondly of the former NBA star.
Kanye Shows Odom Love On Twitter
Kanye quit social media in May 2017, but now the Grammy Award winner surprised his fans by getting back on social media with a number of Twitter posts.
One of his early tweets was a photo of him with his former brother-in-law, saying that walking into the Madison Square Garden arena with Odom was one of his favorite experiences. He also revealed that he used to play Odom the album when he was recovering from his near-death drug overdose in 2015.
my favorite moment of walking into MSG to play Saint Pablo, I used to go to the hospital and play Lamar the album when he was learning to walk and talk again Then we walked into the arena together pic.twitter.com/ysC5z5wDUA — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 15, 2018
While Kanye is the most recent member of the family to express his love for Odom publicly, the basketball player actually keeps in touch with most of the members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Last Thanksgiving, Kim also spilled on the positive relationship of Odom, herself, and her husband, according to E! News. On Instagram Stories, she shared that the couple played the athlete Kanye's brand-new album.
"And then when he was done I said, 'Did you like the music?' and he said, 'Loved it!'" she says.
More Kanye-Isms On Twitter
Kanye stormed back into Twitter with a tweet on Friday, April 13, that simply threw shade at Nike. Buzzfeed reports that the songwriter tweeted a photo of Nike's newly released Monarch, noting that it looked suspiciously similar to his own footwear by Adidas.
"Yeezy 700 vibes," Kanye wrote on Twitter with a few emojis. He deleted the post within minutes of tweeting it out. Aside from the heart-warming tweets about Odom and the now-deleted Nike tweet, Kanye marked his return to Twitter with words of wisdom for his 6.02 million followers.
Some people have to work within the existing consciousness while some people can shift the consciousness — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 16, 2018
often people working with the existing consciousness are jealous of those who are more in touch and they become hard-core capitalist in hopes of creating the illusion that the value of money is worth more than the value of time and friends — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 16, 2018
With these gems, fans will truly enjoy getting Kanye back on their Twitter feed.
