The "Pot Mom" of New York has been released on $500,000 bail Tuesday as she awaits trial on drug charges.

Andrea Sanderlin, the 45-year-old mother of two from Scarsdale, New York who has been labeled as "Pot Mom" by the media is charged with running a multi-million dollar marijuana business. She was released on the hefty bond, signed by her father, stepmother, paternal grandmother of her children, and a group of other people including an MTA train engineer, a secretary for Thomson Reuters media company and two employees of an upper East Side hair salon.

According to The New York Daily News, she ran a large-scale pot-growing operation in a Queens warehouse.

Sanderlin's bail agreement indicates that she must reside at the Manhattan apartment of her children's grandparents, and that she will be electronically monitored during her time on bail.

Authorities said that since Sanderlin's arrest she has not revealed how she afforded a luxury lifestyle in Westchester County.

"For all I know, she has millions of dollars or she could have a couple hundred dollars," Judge Steven M. Gold said at the bail hearing in a Brooklyn court. "She hasn't worked, but she's living in Scarsdale and driving a Mercedes. I can't add that up."

Sanderlin was arrested on May 20 after police raided the warehouse in Queens. At the time, authorities discovered $3 million worth of pot, including nearly 3,000 marijuana plants.

According to officials, she allegedly supervised the drug business under the name of a company called Fantastic Enterprises, which was registered in July 2007.

Sanderlin pleaded not guilty last week to the charges of running and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and maintaining a drug-involved premise.

If found guilty of the charges, the mother could face a minimum of 10 years in jail, and be forced to pay up to $10 million in fines.

Sanderlin is expected to attend her next court appearance scheduled on July 15.
