Emma Roberts Domestic Violence Update: Actress in Tears, Comforted by Boyfriend Evan Peters [PHOTOS]
After hearing her domestic violence arrest was now public, Emma Roberts was photographed crying outside of a New Orleans studio.
Surprisingly, in the photos, the 22-year-old actress is being comforted by the man affected -- boyfriend Evan Peters.
Released by TMZ, the photos show her boyfriend giving her a hug and holding her head in his arms trying to comfort the troubled star.
News broke yesterday that Roberts was arrested on July 7 in Montreal after someone from the hotel they were staying at made a phone call around 2 a.m. to police enforcements.
Both Roberts and Evans were found with injures. The 26-year-old Kick-Ass star was found with a bloody nose and bite marks from his girlfriend, while the We're the Millers star was seen with bruises on her legs a week following the incident.
Because no charges were filed, Montreal police spokesman Laurent Gingras revealed few details saying, "That woman was brought to court, and no charges were pressed on her," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it," reps for the actors told E! News in a statement.
Everything seemed normal the day after the incident on July 8, with Roberts tweeting, "Sorry for the long break guys. How's everybody!"
As far as what caused the incident, details have not been revealed. However, it seems that Roberts' violent side might be passed down from her father, actor Eric Roberts. His past involves being arrested for the possession of drugs and for shoving his wife into a wall.
Evans and Roberts will appear on-screen on the upcoming third season of American Horror Story premiering in October.
