Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may no longer be getting married at their French Château. Instead, new reprots claim their wedding might take place on top of a five-star luxury cruise ship.

The Hebridean Princess, a vessel that sails along the coastline of Scotland, is reportedly hosting the wedding of the year thanks to a suggestion made by their 12-year-old son Maddox.

"It was Maddox who came up with the idea of the ship. He came across it after looking back at photos of the Carnell Estate in Ayrshire, where they stayed and all loved," a source told UK's The Sun. "So now they've made enquiries into booking the whole vessel."

The chief operating officer of the ship's owners, Ken Charleson, commented saying, "We have a very confidential relationship with a number of high-profile guests....I can't confirm whether they have been making enquiries or not."

However, if they did inquiry about the ship, Charleson added, "But of course, they are more than welcome."

The vessel that was twice chartered by the Queen of England, costs approximately $456,000 to rent. Being that the Hollywood couple can afford such an expensive price, it might be the perfect place to hold their wedding.

"It's just what they're after. It can hold up to 50 of their friends and family and serve as a traditional, romantic setting - all totally private," the source said. "Or they could always sail to a secluded bay off the Orkney or Shetland islands and have the ceremony there."

On Wednesday morning, Brad Pitt touched down in France to reportedly meet with the couple's wedding planner and finalize the arrangements, which may or may not be at their 1,000-acre Château Miraval estate.

"The rumor around town is that Brad and Angelina will finally have their wedding," a source told X17. "Local shops have been contacted for some supplies and they finally finished construction on their property. It looks like it could really happen this time."

The couple have been engaged since April 2012 with plans for a summer wedding.
