Royal Baby News: Prince Harry Will Make Sure Prince George 'Has Fun,' Gushes About Meeting Prince William and Kate Middleton's Son
Prince Harry is going to make sure his nephew Prince George has plenty of fun.
On Thursday, Harry told reporters at the opening of "The Sentebale: Stories of Hope" exhibition that he met his newborn nephew the previous day at Kensington Palace, where the baby was "crying his eyes out, like all babies."
"It's fantastic to have an addition to the family," he said. "I only hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are!"
He explained that his role is "to make sure he has a good upbringing, to keep him out of harm's way and make sure he has fun. The rest of it I leave to the parents."
Prince William and Duchess Kate welcomed the latest royal heir into the world on Monday, and on Wednesday, they released the young prince's name: George Alexander Louis.
According to the palace statement, the baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.
Alexander Louis, made his debut outside of St. Mary's Hospital in London on July 23, with his proud mother gently holding her newborn and beaming brightly at her husband.
"It's very emotional," Kate told reporters outside the hospital. "It's a moment that any parent having just given birth will know what this feeling feels like."
At the time, Prince William said the newborn looks more like Kate.
"He has got her looks, thankfully," William quipped. "I will remind him of his tardiness when he's a bit older because I know how long you have all sat out here."
