NeNe Leakes Reveals 'Tearful Conversation' With Husband Gregg Before he Died After Announcing She's Dating Someone

NeNe Leakes has another reason to smile again after "grieving" and being "depressed" for months following her husband's death, as she recently announced that she's dating someone again. The reality star also opened up about an emotional conversation with Gregg Leakes before he passed away; did she get her husband's blessing?
Over the past week, NeNe became a hot topic on social media after confirming her relationship status. Her son Brentt organized a surprise party for her 54th birthday, which featured A-list guests.
In a series of photos posted on her Instagram account, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star posed with a man wearing a lavender suit.
Speaking to The Shade Room, NeNe confirmed that the man in the photos was Nyonisela Sioh, a businessman. He owns the fashion brand Nyoni Couture, which produces men's suits and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
"We're dating! We're friends," she told the Instagram gossip page.
The reality TV star also revealed the "tearful conversation" she had with her husband before his untimely passing, saying he wanted her to be happy and keep smiling.
"His words to me were 'be happy, keep smiling and he who finds you, has found a good one,'" she added.
Despite finding a new lover, NeNe clarified that she will love her late husband "forever."
According to insiders who spoke to TMZ, the ex-husband of NeNe's fellow "RHOA" cast member, Cynthia Bailey, was the one who introduced the two to each other.
NeNe Leakes' DMs Filled With 'Gentlemen'
The latest news comes two months after the reality star told her followers that there had been gentlemen sliding into her DMs, saying she appreciated their messages.
"Thank you to everybody, all the gentlemen, they have been in my DMs, hey!" NeNe said.
At the time, the mom of two said she was focusing on herself despite getting attention from several men, and she was not ready to go out on the dating scene again.
Gregg Leakes' Death
In September, Gregg Leakes died at the age of 66 after a year of battling colon cancer. His family's publicist, Ernest Dukes, confirmed the tragic news to the public.
"Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife NeNe Leakes," the publicist said.
