Drew Carey revealed he no longer celebrates Valentine's Day after Amie Harwick died.

Carey opened his heart again for an interview with "48 Hours," where he talked about the murder of Harwick again during Valentine's Day two years ago.

Per the "Price Is Right" host, he still thinks about the Hollywood therapist following her tragic death. He also revealed that he does not know if he would celebrate Valentine's Day with dinner again.

Carey took his time to share what it was like to fall in love with Carey. Though they got engaged, they never heard wedding bells as they eventually broke up due to his hectic schedule and career.

"I fell so hard for her. She was really smart. You want an intimate relationship where you can open up to somebody completely and be yourself. And she was that for me," he went on.

Despite ending their relationship for good, the former couple remained friends following their split.

Drew Carey Received Heartbreaking Text From Amie Harwick

During the same appearance, the TV host revealed that he received a text from Harwick. His ex-girlfriend reportedly said she would love to get back to him, to which he responded and told her he loved her.

However, they never got the chance to start all over again.

Though it was the last time he heard from her, he reportedly found solace knowing she cared about him before her death.

"That's the big solace that I get from it, is that she loved me and I'm glad I could get that message to her before she died," Carey said, as quoted by Yahoo! Entertainment.

Harwick died on February 15 after celebrating Valentine's Day with her friends. According to CBS, she texted a friend around 1:02 a.m - a few hours before she was found dead. Her roommate reportedly heard sounds of Harwick screaming which prompted him to find people who could help him.

The police eventually found her lying 20 feet beneath her room. She reportedly suffered severe injuries and deep marks on her neck - showing signs she was strangled. The responders were still able to rush her to Cedar Sinai Medical Center Hospital, but she was pronounced dead at 3:26 a.m.

The authorities arrested her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, who reportedly met the woman again for the first time in eight years. Harwick reportedly told her friend that Pursehouse accused her of ruining his life.

Pursehouse has since pleaded not guilty. He still has not been formally charged over Harwick's death.
