Lisa Vanderpump Health Update: ‘RHOBH’ Star Speaks Out After Tragic Accident; Current Condition Revealed
Lisa Vanderpump may have been injured following her tragic accident, but it won't stop her from wearing fashionable clothes as she recently stepped out for a medical treatment.
According to Daily Mail UK, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star was recently photographed in Los Angeles, California, a few weeks after falling from her horse.
Despite wearing a cast and using a walker, her current condition didn't stop her from sporting a stylish look as she donned an all black outfit, accessorized with a thick gold-buckled belt, pearls, and a magenta Chanel bag.
Since her other foot is covered in cast, she only wore a boot on her left foot. The footwear has a gold-studded heel.
Speaking about her experience to the outlet, the TV star expressed her gratitude to her doctor, Dr. Kenneth Jung, and his "brilliant talents as an orthopedic surgeon."
"It was such a devastating fall and break, I'm just so lucky and thankful that I didn't break my back," she added.
Vanderpump recalled the incident that took place in The Paddock Riding Club in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, saying she had been "cantering" and her horse, HRH Prince Tardon, fell.
Her beloved horse also sustained a cut on his nose, while she broke her leg in four places. The TV star said she's very concerned of her back as she thought it was broken.
"When the horse fell, he jumped over me after I landed on the ground," she added.
The "RHOBH" cast member also gave an update about her horse, saying HRH Prince Tardon is "doing fine."
After going through a series of check ups, her doctor told her she was "progressing very well" and "ahead of schedule" despite her back being "badly bruised." She later clarified that her back is healing.
Despite healing from the tragedy, Vanderpump says she's still "in pain," but she's undergoing treatment like physio, massage, and constantly icing the parts where she feels the pain.
The restaurant mogul expressed her gratitude to her husband, Ken Todd, and their children, saying she received "such wonderful support" from her family.
In early reports, Lisa Vanderpump was taken to the hospital after the tragic accident that happened in late January.
Her horse reportedly got "spooked, reared up and bucked her off."
Per onlookers around the area, Vanderpump reportedly flew over her horse's head and "landed squarely on her back."
The TV star sustained four fractured bones in her leg and a bruised back.
According to her husband, Ken Todd, the incident was probably be the last time she would go horseback riding despite their horse being a "gentle animal."
