It seems like Aaron Rodgers, and Shailene Woodley did not call off their engagement as the former recently took online to express his gratitude and profess his love for the actress; are they back together?
Taking to his official Instagram account, the Green Bay Packers quarterback shared a cryptic post, thanking his significant other for the "unconditional love."
The athlete also shared a snap of them snuggling together wearing matching black hoodies in the series of photos.
Rodgers penned, "thanks for letting me chase after you the first couple months after we met, and finally letting me catch up to you and be a part of your life."
He also thanked the "Fault in our Stars" actress for her "incredible kindness" and for giving him "unconditional love."
"I love you and am grateful for you," he concluded the paragraph dedicated to Woodley. (via CBS)
Aside from his fiance, the National Football League star also took the opportunity to thank other people, including his teammates, the "Friday Crew," and his fans.
At the time of this writing, Shailene Woodley has not publicly responded to the post.
The recent news comes a few days after rumors circulated online about their breakup. Multiple sources previously spoke to Us Weekly Magazine, saying things haven't been doing well for the couple that ultimately led to their split.
The reported reason why the pair called off their engagement is Woodley has been working hard with her career as an actress as her fiance also focuses on the football field.
In addition, the actress' friends also didn't like the football player as they believed he wasn't "the best match for her."
A few days later, Woodley was spotted for the first time since the rumors came out, and she seemingly hinted at the actual status of their relationship.
The "Divergent" star was photographed shopping in Malibu, donning a casual denim jacket and black pant-combo.
Woodley isn't wearing her engagement ring in the photos, which she showed to Jimmy Fallon during a virtual appearance last year.
The couple reportedly started dating in February 2021; several reports claim they got engaged within a few days.
Rodgers then confirmed his relationship status during his speech at last year's NFL Honor Awards, thanking his fiance without directly naming the actress.
