Wendy Williams Reveals True Feelings After Sherri Shepherd Took Her Time Slot
Wendy Williams has been absent from her show for several months due to her health problems. Since then, a line of hosts was scheduled to take over her talk show. More recently, the TV host's time slot is getting replaced, and according to her representative, she understands it.
Meanwhile, her representative, Howard Bragman, who spoke to People Magazine, shared that Williams is going through a challenging time with her health, but she remains grateful to everyone who supported the show during her absence.
The former disk jockey understands "the reality of syndicated television" and why her time slot is getting replaced by Sherri Shepherd's new show.
Bragman revealed Williams knew the decision was made from "a business point of view," and Debmar-Mercury assured her that when the time comes, and she recovers from her health woes, she can go back to hosting the show and "would be back on TV."
After the statement was released online, the talk show host took to her personal Instagram account, saying she didn't give her publicist the signal to speak on her behalf.
Williams noted that while she appreciated his concern, she didn't authorize her to make any statements regarding her status with Debmar-Mercury.
She concluded the post, "again thanks for your continuing concern and support." (via Page Six)
