Bob Saget's Hair-Raising Final Hours Explored in New Theory: Where Did He Stumble?
Bob Saget left many questions about how he could have untimely died after his fruitful show the night before his passing.
After weeks of waiting, Saget's official autopsy report revealed the horrifying injuries the actor suffered from before his death. The report said that an "unwitnessed fall backward" caused the actor to suffer head trauma. The list of extensive skull fractures and brain injuries includes subgaleal hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, discoloration in the upper and lower eyelids due to skull fracture, and posterior scalp abrasions.
No news outlet ever detailed what exactly led to his death. But recently, PEOPLE got once-unknown details from several individuals involved in the investigation into the actor's passing. It revealed that the Orange County Sheriff's deputy said that it is not an unusual case but there are still a lot of questions waiting to be answered.
The news outlet quoted a theory and revisited Bob Saget's last moments and how he possibly died.
How Did Bob Saget Die?
Accordingly, Saget managed to be caught on surveillance video when he exited an elevator and walked down the ninth floor's hallway toward his room. Authorities already examined the clip and claimed that the actor showed no sign of distress.
He then entered his room around 2:17 a.m. and hung a "Do Not Disturb" sign on his doorknob.
The door remained unopened until the afternoon when he was found dead.
With this information, investigators came up with a theory suggesting that Saget fell, lost consciousness, got into his bed, fell asleep, and never woke up again.
The authorities reportedly checked the marble end tables and counters in his hotel room's bathroom. Since they found no traces of blood or hair in any of those, they now believe that the actor fell backward onto the marble floor and struck his head.
After waking up on the floor, he probably went to bed and died. They assumed that he died around 4:00 a.m - 12 hours before security personnel found him unresponsive.
The theory came after Saget's wife, Kelly Rizzo, and the actor's three daughters - Aubrey, Laura, and Jennifer - filed a lawsuit to stop the release of further details about the 65-year-old star's death.
The bereaved family said that keeping the investigation confidential would prevent "irreparable harm in the form of extreme mental pain, anguish, and emotional distress" to the family.
