The tentatively titled Man of Steel 2: Batman vs. Superman will return to a familiar location for its production, and the movie's star Henry Cavill hinted at some of the details from the new movie.

The sequel will be shot in Canada, much like the original Man of Steel film. The production of the follow-up, however, will take place primarily in Toronto as opposed to Vancouver, where the first movie was filmed, according to MovieWeb.com. The decision was made largely because of Toronto's more favorable tax incentives.

Henry Cavill, who played the lead role of Superman/Clark Kent in the picture, also revealed other new information about the sequel in an interview with io9 at the 2013 Comic-Con earlier this month. The British actor divulged that Superman's love interest Lois Lane, played by Amy Adams, would eventually have to discover the super hero's true identity for the film to be realistic.

"I think it's essential," Cavill said. "Because if we're trying to base it [on] reality, there's no way that Lois has these direct interactions with Superman, and then doesn't recognize Clark sitting next to her in the office."

Cavil said as the romance between Kent and Lane develops, it would be natural for her to discover he is Superman.

"If she falls in love with Superman, and she's ignoring a guy who looks just like Superman, behaves just like him, and has the same kind of mannerisms and behavior, then what does that say about Lois?" he said. "I like this relationship. She saves him just as much as he saves her."

At the end of Man of Steel, Kent starts his job at the Daily Planet newspaper. The movie's screenwriter David S. Goyer told the website that sequels will probably have to address Kent's career as a reporter.

"Look, if Man of Steel was kind of Superman Begins, then [in the end] we get him into the Daily Planet," he said. "So in the next movie, it would be natural to "start building out that world."

Goyer's comments came before production of the sequel was announced at Comic-Con, and it's not clear how Batman's role in the film will affect the storyline of Kent's job at the newspaper.
