Adele Las Vegas: Singer's Residency Will Have A New Location [DETAILS]
Adele's Las Vegas residency had become a trending topic when she canceled it less than 24 hours before she was set to perform for her first show.
In response to the quality of the set at Caesars Palace, the singer has canceled her next performances at the casino.
In the meantime, though, the 33-year-old award-winning singer is in talks to reschedule the concerts - for which tickets would sell for as much as $10,000 - and has been approached about a possible residency at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater.
A source who talked to The Sun claims that Adele's residency will not be at Caesars Palace, but rather at Zappos.
Nonetheless, the venue is part of the Caesars family, with whom she has a lucrative partnership, and it is world-class.
According to the source, Caesars Palace had previously hosted a number of other notable performers, including Jennifer Lopez and Shania Twain. However, following Adele's problems with her set, which included poor sound quality at the Colosseum, it appears that Zappos may be the solution.
"Plus, the Colosseum's schedule is really tight," they continued. When it comes to a venue, her initial choice was Zappos. If that isn't possible, they want her to know that they are willing to accommodate her needs.
According to the Zappos website, it has a capacity of around 7,000 people, which is nearly twice the size of the Colosseum.
Adele has promised that the residency, which would cost approximately $550,000 per night, will take place this year.
"I regret staying up till that late in the day," the "Rolling In The Deep" singer confessed to Graham Norton on his talk show. It would have been a half-assed performance, and I am unable to do that."
The Sun also alleged that Adele referred to a swimming pool at Caesars Palace as a "baggy old pond," according to the newspaper.
Adele's Romance With Rich Paul
The "Set Fire To The Rain" singer has been warned that she will face serious consequences if she continues to ignore her fans in the midst of her new romance with Rich Paul.
Adele is rumored to be high on love and to have canceled her gigs - but this time, according to another story, it's because she's having difficulties with her partner.
Apparently, her management told her, according to an insider who spoke to Heat magazine, that delaying the start of her Vegas shows any longer would just enrage her fans even more.
She may also be subjected to public criticism, and she may find it difficult to recover from it.
"It appears as if she's been putting off critical career decisions since she's been finding it difficult to focus on work instead of her romance," the insider continued.
