Jason Momoa, Lisa Bonet Back Together? 'Aquaman' Star Shares Truth Following Split
Jason Momoa sets the record straight about the real score between him and Lisa Bonet following their divorce.
Momoa and Bonet's fans were left heartbroken after the Hollywood power couple decided to end their marriage.
In January, the duo released a statement saying they decided to move forward separately.
"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times... A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception... feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so~ We share our Family news~That we are parting ways in marriage," Momoa and Bonet said.
Recently, they sparked reconciliation buzzes as they went out in public more often despite their split. However, that does not seem to be the case after all.
Are Jason Momoa, Lisa Bonet Together Again?
On Tuesday, the "Aquaman" actor spoke to Entertainment Tonight during "The Batman" premiere in New York City. According to Momoa, they are not back together but still consider each other a family.
The actor said he continues to support his stepdaughter, Zoe Kravitz, as he attends to his two children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.
"We're just so proud. Lisa couldn't be here, so we're representing, me and the babies. We're very excited to just be here. ...It's still family, you know?" he said.
Meanwhile, a source told the same news outlet that there is no bad blood between Momoa and Bonet. In fact, they still have love for each other. According to the insider, the duo still loves each other even after their breakup.
The new reports contradicted what HollywoodLife reported in February, though.
According to Momoa's unnamed friend, the actor seemingly started mending things with Bonet as he moved back in with her. The former couple reportedly decided to live together again weeks ago and try working on things since "they have so much invested in each other."
While the truth remains unclear as of press time, Momoa might be too busy to answer more questions as he has been officially tapped to play the villain's role in the upcoming "Fast & Furious 10" film.
As reported by Collider, the actor himself confirmed his role in the installment, saying he would play a flamboyant bad boy in the film. With that said, he would be working with the notable "Fast & Furious" cast members, including Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Charlize Theron, among others.
