Zoe Sozo Bethel Cause of Death: Miss Alabama’s Disturbing Final Moments Detailed
Zoe Sozo Bethel died last month in Florida after being involved in an accident that put her in a coma.
Miami police officers were summoned to East 24th Street just after midnight on February 10 in response to a "possible suicide attempt."
Bethel fell from a third-floor window, according to investigators, and was taken to a local hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.
She suffered major brain damage while in the hospital, but the medical examiner determined that she died as a consequence of "blunt force trauma" and that her death was "accidental," according to the report.
Miss Alabama's family revealed on her Instagram account on the day of her death, Feb. 18, that she had "passed from this world into the next as a result of her injuries."
However, there have now been further revelations about the 27-year-final old's minutes before she was killed.
According to police investigations seen by The Sun, Zoe Sozo Bethel appeared to be acting erratically and "very theatrically" only moments before she died.
She is believed to have raced down the corridor and missed the balcony, leading her to fall over.
According to sources, Bethel took an unknown medication just hours after jumping to relax over dinner.
She revealed to her brother that she had consumed a "little amount of cannabis," according to reports.
Later, while she and her brother were leaving the restaurant, she complained of "feeling warm," and she claimed she couldn't get any cold water to cool herself down.
Even though she showered right away when she arrived home, she was still feeling warm, so she left the apartment right away.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke with officials, she had been pacing and acting strangely before the incident.
According to sources, as her brother called for her to return inside the building, the beauty queen ran to the elevator and turned back.
Instead of returning to the house, Bethel simply "glanced back" and raced forward at full speed for the entryway.
Bethel's brother also said that the reigning queen was utterly ignorant of the balcony railing in front of her.
Authorities revealed that the bottom portion of the victim's body "hit the railing and she fell over."
The death of Zoe Sozo Bethel was likewise ruled to be accidental, rather than the result of a suicide attempt, according to the article.
Bethel's family has even indicated that she would stay in the country "if she had the opportunity."
When asked about her "abnormal" conduct the night she died, authorities refused to clarify whether or not the drugs played a part, or even if they did.
