Kelly Clarkson, Brandon Blackstock Divorce Settlement: Singer to Pay Ex THIS Much
After a messy divorce proceeding that made headlines over the past year, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have finally reached a settlement in their individual cases.
According to Hollywood Life, the "Since U Been Gone" songstress will get a fair share of their assets while the manager gets support.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon signed off on the estranged couple's terms. The fate of their children was revealed as the TV host will get primary custody of their two kids, seven-year-old River and 5-year-old Remington.
Blackstock, who's currently living in Montana, will still have a chance to bond with his children one weekend monthly.
Earlier this year, reports circulated about the manager refusing to leave their ranch in Montana, but now that they've reached a settlement, Clarkson will be the one to keep the property, and her estranged husband is only allowed to stay until June 1 this year.
However, he's required to pay over $12,500 per month as a form of rent.
Regarding spousal support, Blackstock will reportedly receive a staggering $115,000 every month until January 2024, as well as $45,600 monthly in child support despite only getting one weekend monthly to spend time with his kids.

If ever the estranged husband decided to move elsewhere, Clarkson's legal counsel, Laura Wasser, can go back to court to ask the judge for an adjustment.
At the time of this writing, neither Kelly Clarkson nor Brandon Blackstock has publicly commented on the matter.
The estranged couple officially filed for divorce in 2020 after being married for over seven years. Their divorce saga was complicated, but it appears that they're heading in the right direction as the divorce has already been settled.
The recent news comes a few weeks after the singer wanted to change her name and drop "Blackstock legally." Although she retained her maiden name in the industry for her songs, appearances, and TV shows, Clarkson has maintained her estranged husband's last name legally and privately.
However, she also wanted to change her maiden name, "Clarkson."
Per iHeart, the "Breakaway" songstress wants to go by "Kelly Brianne," which are her first and middle names. Legal documents state that the singer's choice "more fully reflects" who she is.
Regarding the proceedings of her petition, a court date is set for March 28 to review her case further.
