Renee Zellweger Plastic Surgery: Did She Go Under The Knife Again?
Renee Zellweger has made a number of appearances on late-night talk shows in order to promote her upcoming television, "The Thing About Pam," which will air on NBC.
When compared to the veteran actress, the latter appears to be a completely different lady, and this has everyone talking.
In an appearance on Monday's "Jimmy Fallon Show," Renee Zellweger talked about her new show which is based on the true story of a real-life killer Pam Hupp who is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of another woman.
When preparing for her role as Pam, the "Bridget Jones" actress had to spend four hours in the makeup chair and even put on a fat suit.
It was also clear that Zellweger looked different on "Fallon" than she had been in recent years.
Despite the fact that she is already 52 years old, the actress' skin appears to be exceptionally tight and free of obvious wrinkles.
A nip and tuck were rumored to have been performed on Renee Zellweger, and her appearance on "Fallon" fueled further debate about whether she had undergone the procedure.
The blonde beauty was approached by Radar Online, who spoke with two Beverly Hills plastic doctors who shared their opinions on whether she received surgery or not.
Renee Zellweger Plastic Surgery
According to Dr. Obaid Chaudhry, Renee Zellweger's cheeks appear larger and her jawline is more defined than she was previously.
He believes the Hollywood actress had a fat transfer to her face, as well as a neck lift and buccal fat removal, performed by a plastic surgeon in California.
This procedure would assist in bringing attention to the contours of the lower face and cheek.
In his subsequent statement, Dr. David Saadat noted that Renée Zellweger has distinguishing facial features and that the actress has undergone an upper eyelid lift.
In the meanwhile, surgery would allow for more immediate changes to not only the eyelids but also to the brow, should the need arise.
He also believes Zellweger had Botox in her upper face because it is a procedure that many individuals her age undergo, and because she has a prominent chin.
Renee Zellweger Reacts To Plastic Surgery
Despite her appearance, the Texas-born actress stated in a 2017 column for The Huffington Post that she had never gone under the knife.
She wrote at the time, "Not that it's anyone's business, but I did not make a decision to alter my face and have surgery on my eyes."
"It's no secret a woman's worth has historically been measured by her appearance."
But then she said that the resulting message becomes problematic for young people when people talk about other people's plastic surgery, "triggers myriad subsequent issues regarding conformity, prejudice, equality, self-acceptance, bullying, and health."
