Selma Blair has accused her ex-boyfriend, Ronald Carlson, of attacking her despite her medical condition. Today, a judge finally made a big move to ensure the actress' safety after the shocking allegations. So, what exactly happened between the two?

According to legal documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, as reported by Radar Online, the 49-year-old star reportedly cut ties with her longtime partner leading him to drop by at her home last month to "drop off some belongings."

The petition states Blair had been taking all of her medications for the day as she's currently battling Multiple Sclerosis.

Despite feeling sick, Carlson reportedly said horrifying words to the actress, saying she's "f***** up," "can't do anything," even calling her "useless" and "cripple."

The situation reportedly took a violent turn as Carlson allegedly jumped on her body while she was on the bed resting.

The man started strangling her, so she shook her head and shoulders "aggressively" to protect herself.

She defended herself by putting her fingers in her ex-boyfriend's eyes and mouth to escape the shocking situation. Still, he fought back by covering her mouth, leading her to become unconscious.

In the petition, Blair attached several images of her body with bruises, alleging it came from her former partner's attack.

Following this, Carlson got arrested for felony domestic violence. He's also not allowed to see his ex-girlfriend for five days.

A judge later granted Blair a restraining order.

Ron Carlson Hits Back With a Different Story

Two weeks after the reported incident, Ron Carlson made a big move by also filing a request for a judge to grant him a restraining order against the actress.

He claims that they were both sick on February 22. He alleged that Blair asked her to sit next to him, but he refused, leading her to attack him.

Carlson detailed the incident, saying the actress swung her arm at her face causing his eye to be struck.

He also attached pictures of his injuries in his petition.

What Is Selma Blair's Health Condition?

Blair, popularly known for her appearances in the films "Cruel Intentions" and "Hellboy," previously revealed that she's struggling with a shocking medical condition on social media.

Taking to her Instagram account in 2018, the star said she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Despite only knowing her condition recently, she claims that she may have been feeling the effects of the sickness over the past 15 years.

According to Mayo Clinic, Multiple Sclerosis, also known as MS, is a disease in the brain and spinal cord that causes communication problems between a person's brain and body.

If not treated properly, it could cause permanent damage or "deterioration of the nerves."
