Pete Davidson is on a whole new level of fame since dating reality star Kim Kardashian.

He was already a stand-up comedian and a regular on "Saturday Night Live" back then but now, he's become one of the most sought-after celebrities.

Now that he's a bigger star than ever, he doesn't want to disappoint his father figure by leaving the show.

The 28-year-old is rumored to be thinking about leaving the show to work on other projects, much to the dismay of longstanding showrunner Lorne Michaels.

According to a source who spoke to Hollywood Life, he is "bracing for life" after leaving the hit comedy program, "but as much as his star is rising, he doesn't want to disappoint Lorne and quit."

Kim Kardashian's beau, on the other hand, may just have to because he has a lot of his house. But it's not like he's not trying to make everything work.

He apparently does not want to offend Lorne, who has supported him since the beginning, and only "wants to do what is good for him, the program, and Lorne all together."

In fact, according to the insider, Pete Davidson is aware that he has until August to decide whether or not to return to "Saturday Night Live," but as of this moment, it is supposedly 40 percent going but 60 percent remaining.

Meanwhile, another insider told the site that Lorne would want to keep the Staten Island native on "SNL" for a few more years, especially since the program will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025.

They revealed that the showrunner is frightened of losing Pete, but he would do anything to keep the burgeoning star around until then.

However, the insider noted that "convincing Pete to stay may be more difficult than planned."

Pete Davidson's New Comedy Show

According to Deadline, Pete Davidson will feature in a new program based on his actual life.

Lorne Michaels, the showrunner of "SNL," will produce the show, in which the 28-year-old will play a fictitious version of himself.

He will play the lead in the show, which has a working title of "Bupkis," which is similar to Larry David's HBO show "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Talks with A-list celebs to build out the cast around Pete are still ongoing.

THE show is being marketed to streaming behemoths like Amazon Prime Video and Peacock.

Pete will not only star in the show, but he will also co-write it.
