Amanda Bynes Conservatorship: Is Mom Supportive of Actress’s Legal Battle?
Amanda Bynes has been under a conservatorship for the past nine years, and she wanted to end it to make her own legal decisions and manage her assets independently. Since her mother, Lynn Bynes, has served as a conservator, is she on board to support her daughter?
According to Us Weekly Magazine, the "All That" alum's mom fully supports the actress' decision to end her conservatorship as she reportedly submitted a declaration of support earlier this month.
The outlet noted that Lynn has served as the conservator of her person and estate since 2014. The conservatorship of her estate has been terminated since August 2017, but the star's mom still has control over her personal and medical decisions as a person.
Amanda filed a petition to remove the conservatorship last month, and her mom responded, saying she doesn't object to the idea of termination.
Is Amanda Bynes Free From Her Conservatorship?
In early reports, a judge has delivered a tentative judgment, saying the conservatorship is "no longer required."
However, Amanda's battle is far from over as the decision isn't final yet, but it is a ray of hope for the actress as she can be freed from the constraining arrangement.
The "Easy A" star's next hearing will be on March 22.

Amanda Bynes Filed Paperwork To End Conservatorship
Last month, Amanda filed court documents at the Ventura County Superior Court in California to end her conservatorship, requesting to terminate the power under her person and estate.
In addition to her termination request, the actress filed a capacity declaration as the state of California requires all conservatorship cases to present updated records of a person's mental state from their physician, psychologist, and other medical professionals. (via Page Six)
Her lawyer, David A. Esquibias, previously issued a statement to People Magazine, saying she wanted to terminate her conservatorship because her condition is "improved and protection of the court is no longer necessary."
Amanda was placed under legal protection in August 2013. The big move came after the actress was taken to the hospital on an involuntary psychiatric hold after reportedly igniting a small fire in a driveway.
She later confirmed online that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Amanda has been in and out of mental health facilities throughout the past years while battling her addiction.
