After Joe Exotic made claims about his estranged husband, Dillon Passage is ready to share his side of the story as his attorneys speak out for the first time since the TV star filed for divorce.

According to People Magazine, Passage's lawyers, Chris Kirker and Holly Davis of Kirker Davis LLP issued a statement to slam Exotic's claims last week.

In the initial report, the reality star's lawyer claimed that Passage failed to "serve his husband and did not follow through with obtaining a divorce through the legal system."

Exotic's team then allegedly attempted to contact him several times.

Today, Passage's camp says the opposite happened and slammed the Netflix star because he's popularly known for "stretching the truth for personal gain."

They added that they're no longer surprised to find him doing the same thing in his divorce case.

The Kirker Davis Law Firm also slammed Exotic's "false" claims about Passage not obtaining a divorce through legal means, saying they presented a comprehensive settlement to the TV star's lawyer, Francisco Hernandez, in September of last year.

Five days later, their office received an email from Exotic saying, "It will be a cold day in hell before I sign these papers."

Since he responded differently and revealed his medical condition shortly after that date, Passage decided to pause pursuing litigation concerning his estranged husband's health woes.

The two lawyers said they always urge their clients to "take the high road" and applauded Passage's "compassionate decision," but now he feels that he needed to do something to shut down Exotic's "untrue statements."

In addition, Passage is eager to finalize their divorce case.

Joe Exotic's Camp Speaks Out

In a statement, an attorney for the zoo owner said they haven't heard anything from Passage's camp, but they're glad that he's "ready to move forward."

"A legal case was never and therefore no legal remedy was actually pursued by Mr. Passage," they added.

Joe Exotic Files For Divorce

Dillon Passage's lawyers' recent statement comes a few days after Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado Passage, filed legal documents in Santa Rosa County, Florida.

His lawyer, Autumn Beck Blackledge, said the TV star is almost done with his treatment and has "fallen in love."

He also clarified that the embattled Tiger lover has no ill intention for his ex.
