Queen Elizabeth To Rival Prince Harry's Upcoming Book [DETAILS]
After permitting the release of new facts about the British monarch in a competing book, Queen Elizabeth II will engage in a head-to-head battle with her grandson, Prince Harry.
Prince Harry is said to be writing "intimate and passionate" memoirs, which have been extensively talked about. However, this isn't the only book on the royal family that will be released in bookstores in the near future.
According to the Express UK, the Queen granted Angela Kelly, her trusted assistant and royal dresser, authority to divulge some of her most closely guarded secrets.
Kelly, who has been working with the Queen for 28 years, will be publishing a new chapter of her book, "The Other Side of the Coin," which will be published next month to coincide with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Kelly has been working with the Queen for 28 years and has published a number of books about her.
Publisher HarperCollins stated in a statement that "the Queen explicitly gave Angela her permission to share their wonderful connection with the world." This is the first time that this unusual authorization has been granted to a serving member of the Royal Household."
During the months leading up to his royal wedding to Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex reportedly sparred with Kelly over a tiara, and he was even accused of telling her, "What Meghan wants, Meghan gets."
Queen Elizabeth II Book
According to the outlet, the next part of the book will give insight into Queen Elizabeth II's time in captivity with Prince Philip, as well as the Queen's relationship with Prince Philip.
Moreover, it would include a reference to the burial of the Duke of Edinburgh, which is scheduled for April 2021.
Because of the lockdown, the Queen has been staying at Windsor Castle, which senior members of her family have dubbed "the HMS Bubble" because of the size of the building.
Angela Kelly was one of the members of the royal crew who had access to the queen and even had the opportunity to spend time alone with her.
According to publishing director Katya Shipster, the highly anticipated chapter will describe Queen Elizabeth II's royal bubble and the extent to which her dresser and staff went to ensure her safety.
Shipster also said that they want to use the new addition to honor the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and to bring the book's content up to date after the unexpected events of the preceding two years, according to Shipster.
Furthermore, in the fall, the memoir of Prince Harry will be released.
