Aaron Hernandez's pen pal, who did time in the same jail where Hernandez is currently housed, spoke out about the letter he received from the former NFL star.

In the letter, which was obtained by TMZ, Hernandez said he's confident he'll be found innocent of the charges that he murdered his one-time friend Odin Lloyd.

"I know everything happens for a reason and I know 'GOD' has a plan for me and something good will come out of this," Hernandez said in the letter. "The world just makes things out of false accusations and it will all die down especially when they say NOT Guilty and all the people who turned on me will feel like crap."

A former inmate of the Bristol County Jail, who was only identified as Karl by TMZ, wrote Hernandez a letter showing his support for the ex-New England Patriots player. The letter was accompanied by photos of Hernandez's wife and young daughter, which the 23-year-old has reportedly placed on the walls of his prison cell.

"I'm not someone who cares to judge him," Karl told TMZ. "I think he should have his day in court before everyone judges him."

Karl also said, as a former inmate who spent time in the same jail 15 years ago, he hoped to help Hernandez get through his own incarceration in the best way possible.

"I'm just in support of someone that I looked up to," he said. "I just think that...I now he's a young guy, and stuff that I've learned and went through I want to pass it on to him and hopefully it can make him a better person."
