#IStandWithAmberHeard started to trend on Twitter on Wednesday when Amber Heard took the Johnny Depp defamation trial stand.

It's still trending even on Thursday morning.

Social media started to be divided when the "Aquaman" star recounted what happened to her and their marriage and the alleged physical abuse and sexual assault she allegedly sustained in the hands of her now ex-husband.

In fact, on the stand, she accused the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star of threatening to kill her while they were in the Bahamas at the time he was abusing with alcohol and drugs.

Heard also said she never knew which version of Depp she would get because a Johnny Depp taking different types of substances would show a different version of his husband.

However, her testimony divided social media users, with some believing Heard was only "acting for the jury."

One person claimed that watching Heard playing the role of "Amber Heard" for a TV movie about Depp is "wild."

"The way she's acting for the jury doesn't feel authentic."

Another claimed, "If you've ever heard a woman talking about sexual abuse. It looks nothing like this. It's like a badly prepped monologue."

But some social media users appeared to have gotten a genuine impression from Amber Heard.

As some are fighting for justice for Johnny Depp, some stand with the blonde beauty. In fact, there were positive reactions when she took center stage.

One person said, "If resilience and strength are persons, they would both be Amber Heard! I stand and will always stand with Amber Heard!"

Another tweeted, "Belittling the issue of domestic violence. Johnny Depp is not a victim."

However, there seems to be something fishy about those who support Heard.

Several Twitter users pointed out that those who tweeted with #IStandWithAmberHeard and supported her have blocked their replies, leading many to believe that the "supporters" are "bots."

In fact, some fans claim that one of the reasons why Elon Musk, Heard's ex-boyfriend, is purchasing Twitter is so that he can make it seem that many are supporting her.

"So STRANGE timing of @elonmusk buying @Twitter who talks of #public #FreeSpeech n all Now more people know that #AmberHeardlsALiar so #AmberHeard suddenly changes her PR guys Now Instantly all of a sudden #IStandWithAmberHeard is #Trending COINCIDENCE How can WE trust #ElonMusk."

Another person asked, mentioning the Tesla CEO, "Are you toying with the algorithm to help her? How the heck is this trending?"
