Queen Elizabeth ‘Frailer’ After Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Add More Burden With THIS
Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee hit a glitch due to another mistake Meghan Markle and Prince Harry committed, a royal biographer said.
Royal supporters no longer expect Meghan and Prince Harry to become part of Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebration. But to everyone's surprise, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently confirmed that they would bring their kids to the UK since leaving their senior royal posts two years ago.
However, royal biographer Angela Levin immediately condemned the royal couple as they added a burden to the already-frail Queen.
In an interview with GB News, Levin said that the Sussexes committed another blunder as bringing their kids would be wrong timing. Host Stephen Dixon, however, sees it as a good ice-breaker that could help Prince Harry and Meghan to reconnect with the royal family.
"I think it is wrong for them to bring their small children over at this time. The Queen is going to be very heavily in demand. There is a lot she has to do during that weekend. "It will be hard for her because she doesn't have the energy nor the mobility. To have small children, who don't know her, coming around for tea is another burden on her," she explained, as quoted by Express UK.
Levin suggested that the family of four could have visited before the Platinum Jubilee and did it quietly.
For the biographer, it is the duo's move in order to make more money out of Netflix.
Far from what Dixon said, Levin clarified how the visit would have been an ice breaker if only they had scheduled it before the special event.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Only Visiting for Netflix
It seems like the Sussexes purportedly have an ulterior motive instead of visiting to celebrate with the Queen.
Insiders told The Sun that a Netflix crew would film intimate moments during the weekend celebration. The palace also created a team to block them from recording the events.
Due to the presence of a Netflix representative, Levin suggested that Meghan and Prince Harry decided to bring their children as part of their PR stunt to get more money from the streaming giant.
"This notice confirms my idea that they had an ulterior motive in coming. They want to come because they want to make it up to Netflix and get loads more money. They can make sure they are thought of as royals, and Netflix will come over and take snaps of them all the time," she said.
In the end, she warned the Sussexes that playing games with the royal family might backfire soon.
