Meghan Markle Desperate To Make MAJOR Damage Control After New Royal Book Release
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly aiming to have an interview with Oprah Winfrey again after the recent publication of a royal book.
Meghan and Prince Harry constantly make it to the headlines again as Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee nears. But aside from purportedly becoming a burden to the monarch, the Sussexes are said to be preparing to divulge claims that a recent royal book claimed.
Royal expert Tina Brown recently released a new royal book, titled, "The Palace Papers," where she compiled several contents and statements from insiders and royal sources.
One of them, per Express, revealed that Meghan was particularly infuriated with Brown as the expert got under her skin with her book's claims.
With that, Meghan and Prince Harry would reportedly fight against them by following a major damage control.
"These latest claims have really gotten under Meghan's skin. She's told her team that something needs to be done. She's so sick of the negative headlines and she's desperate to come out fighting with some major damage control," Heat Magazine said, Express revealed.
The Duchess of Sussex particularly wants to have another discussion with Oprah as she believes it is the best way to counter all the negative reports that she read about herself.
As of this time, the insider claimed that Meghan has already been in contact with the talk show host's people.
What Tina Brown Said About Meghan Markle, Prince Harry
The source cited some parts of Brown's book that caught Meghan's attention, including the claims about the Sussexes' visit to Australia and the South Pacific in 2018.
According to the royal author, the Duchess of Sussex hated every second of the visit as she thought that the itinerary was "pointless."
"She didn't understand why things were set up in that way. Instead of being excited when thousands of people showed up at the [Sydney] Opera House, it was very much like, 'What's the purpose? I don't understand this,' the ex-staffer said,'" Brown quoted.
Brown recognized that the engagements are indeed an old school. But she clarified that those also created ties that bonded royal family members.
Meghan's fury came after royal fans accused her and Prince Harry of making things harder for Queen Elizabeth II ahead of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. For what it's worth, the couple said they would bring their kids to the UK for the first time since Megxit, but Angela Levin said it would not be anything but a burden to the already-frail Queen.
