"I also need help from the fans on which sneakers to wear this season," Peace tweeted on Friday. "Send pictures to me and my website on shoes I should wear."
The small forward, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season, also asked for fans' help in picking an alias.
"The only name I am changing is my nickname, which fans can pick by Subscribing to https://mwpworkout.com or https://mettaworldpeace.com," he wrote on Twitter.
Peace officially signed with the Knicks on July 16 after he was released from the Lakers, as part of Los Angeles' amnesty clause. According to the amnesty provision of the current collective bargaining agreement, the Lakers will owe World Peace $7.3 million in the coming season.
"Metta is a fierce competitor who brings toughness and championship experience to our roster," Knicks general manager Glen Grunwald told ESPN. "We are excited to bring him back to New York and give him a chance to play for the team he grew up rooting for."
Peace gave a preview of what Knick fans can expect from him this season, when he racked up 29 points but also drew a technical foul at a Drew League game in late July.
