Tween girls just got a little more interested in soccer.

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson reportedly signed a deal with English second-division Football Club, Doncaster Rovers and is set to become a pro-football player, CNN reported Aug. 1.

"This has always been a childhood dream for me," Tomlinson told the club's official website, CNN reported.

"I feel very honored to have been asked to sign for Rovers and being able to help both the club and the amazing charity Bluebell Wood is what it's all about."

Tomlinson is part of one of the biggest boy bands right now, along with his band mates Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Pain.

Twenty-one year old Tomlinson was born in Doncaster and signing a deal means he can play on the Doncaster Rovers at any time this season.

The band member is hoping his time on the Rovers will help raise money for local charity Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

The team was well aware of their newest player's busy schedule when they signed him and still think he will make a big impact on the team.

"Louis has always been passionate about football and wanted to realize a dream of signing to his home town club where he once worked on match days," said a statement on the club's official website, CNN reported.

Tomlinson will reportedly wear the number 28 this season as he helps to raise money for Bluebell Wood.
