Princess Charlene of Monaco's Condition Still CRITICAL Amid Lengthy Recovery
Princess Charlene of Monaco revealed that her health remains fragile despite starting her recovery.
After facing a dreaded health issue that kept her away from the royal spotlight, Princess Charlene finally stepped out with her seven-year-old daughter Princess Gabriella and attended the Monte-Carlo Fashion week event.
It became one of her few engagements since returning to Monaco in March after months in South Africa and the Swiss Clinic.
For the first time, she broke her silence on the health issues she faced, telling Nice Matin about her exhausting recovery.
According to the royal princess, she focused all her energy on her children, husband, and health when she returned since those are all her priorities.
She then shed some light on her health, telling the publication that she remains critical and fragile.
"My state of health is still fragile and I don't want to go too fast. The road has been long, difficult, and so painful. Today I feel calmer. I am very happy to be back home in Monaco and with my family. I received so many positive and warm messages when I was away from Monaco and I thank them for their support," she said.
This resonated with what Prince Albert told People when he dismissed the claims about the problems within their relationship.
Princess Charlene Speaks Up About Divorce Rumors
Princess Charlene also took her time to address the buzz surrounding her marriage with Prince Albert. Claims about the royal couple divorcing started when she jetted to South Africa and stayed there for a longer period of time.
She called the persistent queries regrettable and malicious since she and the royal prince have a stronger marriage amid her health issues.
"Like everyone else, we are human beings, and like all human beings we have emotions, weaknesses, only our family is exposed to the media, and the slightest weakness in relayed," she went on, as quoted by Town and Country Magazine.
The new update came months after her father, Michael Wittstock, told South Africa's YOU Magazine that Princess Charlene was in "a very vulnerable" condition while confined at a private clinic.
When she came back to Monaco, she was forced to cancel her appearance at Monaco's National Day Ceremony. Prince Albert said she left again to seek further medical care.
Princess Charlene underwent corrective surgery following her previous ENT procedure. Unfortunately, she stayed for a long time due to infection.
