Ray Liotta's last public outing broke his fans even more.

Liotta's publicist, Jennifer Allen, shared shocking news about Liotta's sudden death in the Dominican Republic while working on the film "Dangerous Waters." She added that the actor died in his sleep, and his exact cause of death remains unknown.

While it sparked concerns about his health and potential underlying issues, the 67-year-old star was still able to show how happy and healthy he was during a public outing with his 46-year-old fiancée, Jacy Nittolo.

On May 1, the couple was seen walking in Pacific Palisades, California, after having a meal at an Italian restaurant in the area.

He also shared his final social media post two days later, talking about his upcoming project "Cocaine Bear." The Elizabeth Banks-directed film is scheduled for a February 2023 release, and it serves as one of his upcoming projects.

"Cocaine Bear follows an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of the white powder and goes on a coke-fueled rampage seeking more blow - and blood," he said in the post, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Ray Liotta's Health Explored

Liotta had been part of the industry for decades, but he never talked about having health problems in public.

However, he indeed faced several issues which caused people to suspect that he has an illness.

In 2016, he constantly showed bizarre behavior and had slurring speech. At one point, fans were concerned about his drunk-like behavior, but he never addressed the buzzes.

Following his death, a source clarified that no foul play was involved in his death. His fiancée, Jacy Nittolo, was also with him at the time of his passing.

While waiting for an update, fans and colleagues continuously showered him with heartfelt messages and paid tribute to him and his legacy.

Lorraine Bracco said, "I am utterly shattered to hear this terrible news about my Ray. I can be anywhere in the world & people will come up & tell me their favorite movie is Goodfellas. Then they always ask what was the best part of making that movie. My response has always been the same...Ray Liotta."
