Kanye West Wyoming Ranch: What Happened After Rapper Abandoned It?
Kanye West's Wyoming property has been abandoned for eight months, yet it is still on the market.
After purchasing the 3,888-acre land two years before, the award-winning rapper and fashion designer listed it for sale through a realty company in October 2021.
However, after displaying the property three times a week to various people and getting 50 or more calls each week, JW Robinson of DBW Realty was unable to locate a buyer for Kanye's ranch.
He told Cody Enterprisethat after receiving 1,700 calls and 100 viewings, "there's still no indication of buyers for the 'once in a lifetime property.'"
Kanye West's ranch and property include freshwater trophy lakes, equipment sheds, a lodge, a go-kart track, and a horse facility.
Realtors attempted to sell it as "61 Nielsen Rd." but chose against using the "Donda" rapper's name and the name he gave it, West Lake Ranch, or its original name, Monster Lake Ranch.
The ranch features eight accommodation rooms and is famed for "giant trout" fishing, according to TMZ.
The halted transaction isn't the only issue the former Mr. Kim Kardashian is dealing with. He is also attempting to sell his other Wyoming holdings after abandoning plans to relocate his Yeezy garment business to the small rural town of Cody.
He has yet to sell his two-acre commercial property, which includes a 6,900-square-foot facility with five bedrooms, five rooms, laundry, and a complete kitchen. The asking price is $739,000.
The Sun said Kanye West's business Psalm Cody Commercial LLC listed numerous additional commercial properties and vacant lots for sale throughout town, including the already-sold vacant lots, three lots for $138,000, a fourth lot for $200,000, and a fifth lot for $549,000.
In November, the "All of the Lights" rapper sold a $1.3 million block of property that was slated to be Yeezy's regional headquarters. But it never occurred.
In the plot, his crew erected a massive fabric tent to serve as a temporary storage facility for "future companies."
Despite the fact that the Cody Planning and Zoning Board authorized him to leave the tent up until it was sold, the new owners were instructed to knock it down earlier this month, despite their offer to upgrade the 4,800 square-foot storage structure.
Per Cody Enterprises, the acting head of the board stated, "It comes down to architecturally, is it suitable for the neighborhood?"
Kanye West relocated to Wyoming following his 2020 breakdown and even established a presidential campaign headquarters there.
