A Kansas sinkhole 200ft across and 90ft deep has swallowed a pasture and is still growing, The Inquisitr yesterday.

The Wallace County town sheriff is warning people to stay away from the sinkhole and officials are reportedly still waiting for experts to examine it. The cause of the sinkhole is still not determined, but there is no nearby irrigation wells or oil drilling which are often causes of sinkholes.

No injuries from the sinkhole have been reported, but it has become an attraction for locals and tourists passing through. The landowner is reportedly trying to stop anyone from visiting the sinkhole to avoid any accidents.

Naturally, the sinkhole is reportedly even more shocking in person than in the photos.

"I'd seen pictures and I knew it was deep, but I didn't think it was this deep. You get out here and you get a whole different perspective on how deep it is," a local resident Gavin Mote told The Inquisitr about the sinkhole.

In May, a sinkhole in New Jersey popped up in a warehouse, consuming a man and his forklift entirely. Thankfully the man was taken to a local hospital and only treated for a back injury, the Huffington Post reported.

A Florida man in March wasn't as lucky when he was sleeping in his bedroom when a sinkhole basically swallowed his room whole. CNN reported that sinkhole was about 20 ft to 30 ft across and about 30 ft deep.
