Amber Heard committed a disastrous interview during her appearance on the "TODAY" show, experts said.

After losing the defamation trial against Johnny Depp, Heard tried to speak up again through her recent exclusive interview with Savannah Guthrie.

The two-part show, which aired on Tuesday and Wednesday, saw the "Aquaman" actress throw allegations against Depp again while trying to defend herself.

Guthrie also found holes in Heard's statement that made her grill her during the interview — but she is not the only one who thinks that the post-trial interview was a major failure.

Following the actress's multiple awkward moments in her first interview, experts shared their thoughts about Heard's reckless appearance that dug her grave even more.

According to Los Angeles-based crisis communications expert, Danny Deraney, he cringed after seeing the interview, especially whenever she mentioned the actor.

"He's also not Captain Jack Sparrow. He's also not a cop who's hanging out in a high school arresting kids for drugs or whatever," Deraney said, as quoted by Yahoo! News. "The moment she said that, it was like, 'Oh my god, how much more time is left in this interview?'"

Amber Heard's Interview Was a Total Failure

Meanwhile, the president of HeraldPR Juda Engelmeyer said it was a mistake that Heard even did the interview.

She explained that the actress faced issues she did not think about, including her failure to acknowledge that she was not even credible during the trial.

For what it's worth, Heard only had one win - and it was not even directly connected to Depp. Her counterclaim was that the actor's lawyer, Adam Waldman, defamed her.

According to Engelmayer, not taking the blame and putting the loss on Depp instead only made the public turn against her even more.

"I didn't hear her taking any responsibility for the lapses in her memory, the testimony that sometimes contradicted itself, the fact that family who 'love' each other are recording each other to begin with. It's all a little sketchy and she addressed none of that," the expert went on.

Some experts also expressed their opinion about how Heard held the interview "too soon."

The CEO of Red Banyan PR, Evan Nierman, said that the interview may have also been a mistake. With that, he believes that Heard cannot do anything to recover her reputation and career at this point.

Amid these, Heard stood firmly and clarified she would push through in filing an appeal.
