Amber Heard Cannot Move On After Losing Trial? Johnny Depp’s Lawyers Call Her Out
Amber Heard cannot stop providing statements against Johnny Depp even after the verdict already came out, the actor's lawyers said.
In the past weeks, Heard's appearance on the "TODAY" show became a hot topic as the actress made more defamatory statements while trying to tell people that she was telling the truth.
Heard said she could not afford to get sued by Depp again, but Depp's fans assumed that she had been asking for it by conducting the interview.
Now, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor's legal team called her out as she does not seem to be willing to move on with her life.
"It's unfortunate that while Johnny is looking to move forward with his life, the defendant and her team are back to repeating, reimagining, and re-litigating matters that have already been decided by the court," Depp's legal representatives said, per Dateline (via The Independent). "It was a verdict that was unequivocally decided by a jury in Johnny's favor."
The team did not exactly name the part of the interview that caused them to break their silence. But Heard's team has been asking why the actress's statements even led to more criticisms.
Johnny Depp Should Also Do Interview, Amber Heard Challenges
As Heard and his team learned the statement made by Depp's team, the actress responded to it and challenged the actor to appear in an interview, as well.
"If Mr Depp or his team have a problem with this, we recommend that Johnny himself sit down with Savannah Guthrie for an hour and answer all her questions," she said.

But the "Edward Scissorhands" actor might choose not to follow Heard's public drama, as crisis management experts think that her post-trial interview was a disaster.
According to Los Angeles-based crisis communications expert Danny Deraney, he cringed while watching the "TODAY" show interview due to her awkward moments while trying to gain people's sympathy.
He revealed that the hour-long special had been a failure, and it became a mistake Heard committed.
Meanwhile, the president of HeraldPR, Juda Engelmayer, shared a similar sentiment saying that the "Aquaman" star failed to recognize that she was not even credible during the defamation trial.
Engelamayer told Insider she lacked credibility, especially since she only won one of the three claims in her counterclaim.
