Jennifer Lopez Won't Perform If 'Diva' Demands Were Not Met, Podcast Reveals
Jennifer Lopez is the subject of the Netflix documentary "Halftime," which has gained widespread acclaim.
Despite relishing in the popularity of her Netflix documentary, her diva attitude is still in the news.
Dannii Minogue is one of the persons that has thrown light on her diva demands.
She said on her podcast that in the 1990s, the "Maid in Manhattan" actress threatened to refuse to appear on the legendary British show "Top of the Pops" if her demands were not satisfied.
Dannii Minogue said on her podcast "The 90s with Dannii Minogue" that JLo informed the program's producers that everything in her dressing room "had to be white," or else she wouldn't participate on the show.
The white requirement extended not just to the room but also to the furnishings, including the sofas.
Dannii stated, "I wanted to visit the room because she wasn't there at the time... Every aspect was fascinating to me."
She also expressed her confusion over the color choice because the "Love Don't Cost A Thing" hitmaker would be coated in cosmetic products.
Dannii stated, "'Girlfriend is plastered head to toe in body cosmetics,' I thought. 'What do you do on a white couch?'"
Prior to Dannii Minogue's latest revelations, Ben Affleck's fiancée was accused of being a diva following the release of a teaser for "Halftime."
The video indicated that she was opposed to performing with Shakira at the Super Bowl.
After seeing the documentary, Jennifer Lopez followers realized that her comments had been taken out of context.
The mother of two stated unequivocally that she has no reservations about sharing the stage with the Latin Pop Princess. She was angry that her performance time would be cut short.
JLo also allegedly refused to comply with the NFL's request that her crew remove the cage she utilized as a prop.
She apparently opted to utilize it during her performance despite the fact that the request was made at the last minute.
Jennifer Lopez also reflected on her career and how she nearly gave up when the strain to preserve her voluptuous shape became too much for her to bear in the documentary.
She remarked multiple times when she considered giving up all of her achievements, "I had to discover who I was. And believe in it instead of everything else."
