Amber Heard To Earn THIS Much With Tell-All Book: Can She Pay Johnny Depp?
Amber Heard will earn a whopping amount from her tell-all book deal. But is it enough to cover the debts she owes Johnny Depp?
After Heard's bombshell appearance on the "Today" show, she received an offer to write a tell-all book where she is expected to tell the story of her life and marriage again.
Although it poses a threat due to another potential defamation lawsuit, a source said that she would do everything she wants now that she has nothing to lose.
The "Aquaman" star might not say no, as well, because of the deal's whopping offer.
Radar Online revealed that the current negotiations had already reached $15 million. As she has an $8.35 million debt (subtracted her $2 million award from the original $10.35 million she needs to give Depp), she might highly likely go for it and write the highly anticipated memoir.
"Amber considers her career in Hollywood over. She's already in talks and is excited about it. At this point, she has nothing to lose and wants to tell all," an insider previously said.
Amber Heard Might Be in Trouble
Although it would help her financially, Heard could spark another trouble amid her attempt to overturn Judge Penny Azcarate's ruling.
An insider proclaimed, "To the extent that Heard wants to discuss this case and her relationship with Depp in a tell-all statement or book, she needs to be extremely careful as to what she says about him. Depp and his attorneys will be reading and listening to everything that Heard states."
If Heard crossed the line again, she might lead herself to another court battle.
Meanwhile, Dror Bikel, author of "The 1% Divorce, When Titans Clash," offered a similar sentiment. He said that the actress no longer has credibility after losing the defamation trial.
"To the extent that Heard wants to discuss this case and her relationship with Depp in a tell-all statement or book, she needs to be extremely careful as to what she says about him. Depp and his attorneys will be reading and listening to everything that Heard states," Bikel said.
Although the book deal is currently at $15 million, she might lose everything before she completes writing it as Depp got the power to levy her assets or even take California's Yucca Valley house from her.
According to lawyer Jeremiah Denton, who is not related to the Depp-Heard case, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor garnered the power to take every property Heard has to complete the damages fees.
