Anne Heche's real condition after getting involved in a fiery car crash has been clarified.

Days after assuring her fans that Heche was in stable condition, a representative released a statement confirming the worsening status of the actress.

In a statement shared by Deadline, the representative disclosed Heche's "extreme critical condition."

"She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention. She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident," the update disclosed.

Heche has been in the hospital since Friday. Previously, her publicist listed her as being in stable condition though her family still asked for thoughts and prayers.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics rushed her to the hospital in critical condition as it took them an hour before they were able to "access, confine and fully extinguish the stubborn flames within the heavily damaged structure."

The "Six Days and Seven Nights" actress crashed her vehicle into a Mar Vista home. It caused the 2020 Mini Cooper to spark the fire that engulfed it wholly.

Fifty-nine firefighters responded but still took 65 minutes before she was pulled out. She was still able to speak at that time but eventually lost consciousness.

Did Anne Heche Drive Under Influence?

The new update regarding Anne Heche's status was released after Los Angeles Police Department Officer Annie Hernandez disclosed that the investigators obtained a warrant in order to draw blood from the actress.

This is to determine whether drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in the crash through a toxicology blood test.

"The investigation is pending based on the results," Hernandez added, per USA Today.

The owner of the house, Lynne Mishele, fortunately did not sustain any injury. But she was left with a damage home, prompting her neighbors to create a GoFundMes page.

"Lynne lives with her beautiful pups Bree and Rueban, and tortoise Marley in the Mar Vista home that was destroyed this week by a car driving into the home at a high rate of speed, catching the house on fire. Lynne and her family very narrowly escaped physical harm, and for that we are very, very grateful," her neighbors John and Jennifer Durand said.

Meanwhile, Heche almost hit a pedestrian, as well. In a video obtained by a news outlet, it can be seen that the actress did not hit the brake or swerve to avoid the woman in an alleyway.
