Jennifer Lopez Sends Britney Spears Her Support After 'Nasty' Videos Went Viral
Jennifer Lopez has sent Britney Spears a letter of support as the pop diva continues to clash with her ex-husband and the father of her two children, Kevin Federline.
The two have something in common these days apart from being the legendary musicians they are - they are both newly married! It's no secret that while Lopez is living her best life right now, Spears' new life after her conservatorship ended is still fraught with controversies, especially since people she once call her famly refuses to let her off the hook and live the life she wants to live. But then, they are reportedly just worried.
"Stay [strong]," Lopez, 53, said on her Instagram stories while re-sharing a post from the "Stronger" singer, which featured a photo of the two musicians attending the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
In her original Friday night post, which is now deleted, Spears quotes J. Lo as she contemplates on "freedom" and "equality." "In a world where you have the right to use your feet ... heart ️ ... mouth ... eyes ... and body... to express yourself however you may !!! Declaration of INDEPENDENCE ... for equality and to be equal !!! Not even touching, covering, and holding me against my will for 4 months !!!," Spears, 40, captioned a clip of herself swaying as she gazed into the camera, with her 2002 hit, "Boys" playing in the background.
"As Jennifer Lopez once said," she added, "'You look right down that camera and tell every little girl in the world to get loud and never ever back down to giving light to injustice ' ️ !!! I'm here to share that freedom is a state of mind !!! GOD BLESS U ALL️️️ Psss I shot this today !!!"
In addition, Lopez posted three heart emojis in Spears' comment area.
Spears recently explained how difficult it has been to co-parent with Federline after he revealed in a preview of an ITV interview that their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, decided "not to see" their mother for "a few months," calling the claims "hurtful" on Instagram and later adding that her sons would act "hateful" during visits. K-Fed replied by sharing footage of private heated moments with their sons when they were 12 and 11 years old, which Spears' lawyers described as a "violation" of the family's privacy.
"Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he has undermined his own children, whose privacy he should protect," lawyer Mathew Rosengart told Page Six.
A source close to the Federline camp however told Page Six, "publishing the videos wasn't about making her seem wicked or unpleasant, but rather about reminding people that she really has a mental condition, and [Federline and the sons] are concerned that it is going untreated."
Britney Spears however looks as if she's willing to ignore all the noise from her ex's camp and just focus on her present husband. Her latest IG post shared just how much she loves Sam Asghari.
