Actor Scott Patterson breaks his silence in a specific scene that made him uncomfortable in the comedy-drama television series "Gilmore Girls".

In a recent episode of the "I Am All In with Scott Patterson" podcast, host Patterson talks about his time on the set of the 7 season series. However, unwanted memories resurface as the actor recalls a scene he can't forget due to feeling "objectified" and "uncomfortable".

"It's as disgusting for women to objectify men as it is for men to objectify women, and it's as harmful," he added. "Just because it was 2003 doesn't mean it was OK. It's never OK, and I didn't feel comfortable doing it, and it pissed me off. And I never said anything, so I was angry at myself for never saying anything. But I had this job, and I didn't want to make waves."

According to the "Saw V" actor, the experience had led him to question his feeling of involvement in the series, and thinking back on it now, he realizes that he should have spoken up about it all those years ago while on "Gilmore Girls".

The "Objectifying" Scene in Question

CNN reports that the scene in question was from the 19th episode of Season 3 titled "Keg! Max!", which aired in April 2003, the same as Patterson's description.

During a particular scene, Lorelai Gilmore and her friend Sookie St. James discussed Luke Danes' physical assets, telling him that he had a "great butt". According to Patterson, the joke continued even after the scene finished filming among crew members, adding salt to his emotional wound.

"It's disturbing, and it's disgusting, and I had to endure that through that entire scene and many takes. It was all about the butt, the butt, the butt, the butt. When we weren't filming, we were sitting down - people were still talking about the butt, the butt, the butt. It was the most disturbing time I have ever spent on that set, and I couldn't wait for that day to be over." Patterson recalls.

Scott Patterson was featured on "Gilmore Girls" for seven years as Luke Danes, the love interest of the show's main protagonist, Lorelai Gilmore, who was played by Lauren Graham. 9 years after the series ended in 2007, a revival miniseries was produced by Netflix titled, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life".
