RIP my brother, a true Canadian pioneer !"

Elias Theodorou's Career

Theodorou had a shorter career compared to other athletes, but it did not stop him from bringing home victory.

He initially had an 8-0 career before managing to have a UFC contract in 2014 after winning TUF.

Among his wins, the time he scored in "The Ultimate Fighter" Nations" middleweight tournament served as one of his greatest milestones. He also beat several renowned fighters like Sam Alvey, Cezar Ferreira, Eryk Anders, and Dan Kelly.

In 2018, he became the ring boy during an Invicta MC event.

While his fighting career was flouring, MMA Fighting noted that Theodorou supported the use of medicinal marijuana, especially in combat sports.

He made history in 2020 when the British Columbia Athletic Commission granted him permission and exemption to use medical cannabis. He became the first fighter to score it.

Before his death, Theodorou was still able to have his last fight against Bryan Baker at a Colorado Combat. He won via unanimous decision.
