Wynonna Judd is yet to let go of her mom, Naomi Judd, five months after the latter's death.

Naomi's legacy and life continue to inspire other people, including how determined she had always been in her personal and professional life. But this determination, according to her daughter, Wynonna, contributed to her suicide.

Five months after Judd's family faced the heartbreaking loss, Wynonna sat for an exclusive interview with PEOPLE and revealed how she thinks she could wrap her head around the death of her mother and the way she killed herself.

"[Naomi] was always so determined. No matter what happened to her. Being fired. Being forgotten. A single white female raising two babies by herself. On welfare and food stamps. She never gave up. So think about that and apply it to every stinking part of life, including death," she said.

The 58-year-old singer then revealed how Naomi had the same determination to live and die. With that, she expressed how hard it is to understand how someone can be strong and vulnerable at the same time.

While still mourning the loss of her mother, Wynonna said she pushed herself to go to the next step until she could move forward continuously.

Despite losing Naomi, Wynonna said she would push through with The Judds: The Final Tour.

Wynonna did not perform with her mother again until their April 11 performance during the CMT Awards. As she takes the next steps in acceptance and surrendering before finally finding the meaning of life without Naomi.

With the death of her mother, she aims to help others by speaking out.

Are Wynonna, Ashley Judd Fighting Over Naomi Judd's Estate?

Elsewhere in the interview, Wynonna clarified the rumors that there is an ongoing rift between her and her sister Ashley. For what it's worth, several buzzes emerged insisting that they were arguing over their mother's will.

The singer revealed that Naomi appointed Larry Strickland, her husband of 33 years, to serve as the executor of her estate. He reportedly has "full authority and discretion" to any of her assets without the approval of the court or beneficiary of the estate.

The siblings will then split the estate, with Wynonna saying she does not want to contest the content of the will.

Instead of arguing, Naomi's death reportedly made them feel closer. They also have a life coach who helped them to be in a better place.
