Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Château Miraval has been a center of attention over the past few years since the estranged couple separated. Today, the former couple revealed that they revamped a legendary studio within the estate's grounds with the help of a young producer.

According to People Magazine, the actor decided to reconstruct the iconic recording studio within his mansion called Studio Miraval, the same place where iconic songs like "Careless Whisper" came to fruition.

Other legendary musicians also worked in the studio like Elton John, AC/DC, The Cure, and Sting.

The original room was constructed in 1988 by Jacques Loussier who's also the original owner of the estate, he's a jazz pianist popularly known for being innovative when it comes to music.

The recording studio is different from its kind as it was built to reproduce the sound he heard in concert hall performances. For a a good-sounding beat, a secluded drum chamber was also constructed.

It was used until the early 2000s, but clients and musicians gradually stopped visiting the studio after the estate was sold in 1992.

It was 2008 when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie discovered the room and the actor finally decided to renovate it last year.

"It has great historical provenance and so we didn't want to do it until we could do something special," he shared to Billboard.

Studio Miraval Was Reconstructed Thanks to THIS Producer

The "Babylon" star asked French producer Damien Quintard for help as he wanted to renovate the legendary space within the premises of his estate.

Since he's an engineer, Quintard said it was a "Holy Grail" for him to help work with the project as Studio Miraval is one of the most iconic studios around.

The pair may be renovating the special space, but they still wanted the old technology and vibe to be apparent in the new studio.

"It was important for us to preserve all the analog technology that was here, but to also fully incorporate the best digital technology of today," he said.

In addition, the two clarified they're not just building a new studio, but rather honor the legacy it left for future generations to witness.

Per the outlet, Pitt and Jolie signed a lease in 2008 before purchasing it four years later. The 1,200-acre vineyard is also the place where they got married.
