James Corden tries to justify his alleged behavior after "apologizing profusely" to an NYC restaurateur.

The comedian had recently been the subject of controversial headlines after celebrity restaurateur Keith McNally exposed Corden as an "abusive customer" to his establishments in at least two incidents. In Keith's Instagram post, he detailed the reason that led him to "86" (which means to kick out or ban) Corden from his restaurant, even calling him a "tiny cretin of a man".

However, due to a recent development, the New York restaurateur retracted the ban after James Corden had called him to "apologize profusely" just hours after the Instagram call out. Keith has since posted an update on the issue in a new Instagram post, in which he announced his forgiveness of the comedian and invited him back to dine in.

Is James Corden Suddenly Unapologetic?

In a recent interview with the New York Times, the late-night talk show host had been defensive when asked about the incidents by justifying his behavior as normal, despite initially apologizing to restaurateur Keith McNally.

"I haven't done anything wrong, on any level. So why would I ever cancel this [interview]? I was there. I get it. I feel so Zen about the whole thing. Because I think it's so silly. I just think it's beneath all of us. It's beneath you. It's certainly beneath your publication." James told the New York-based media company.

Coincidentally, during the interview, the actor and journalist witnessed another customer sending her eggs while dining in the restaurant, to which Corden pointed out:

"Can you imagine now, if we just blasted her on Twitter? Would that be fair?" James said.

Other Displays of James Corden's Alleged Attitude

While many are unsure what to make of Corden's "abusive customer" allegations, Becky Habersberger, who is known as Try Guys' member Keith Habersberger's wife, claims that she is a witness to the comedian's mistreatment of service crews.

Following Keith McNally's expose, Becky took to TikTok to share her encounter with "The Late Late Show with James Corden" star.

"[The busboy] is telling James Corden he can get him a reservation right when they open," Habersberger shared. "He was trying to be really accommodating," to which Corden proceeds to yell at the bus boy, "A lot of good that does me, mate, a lot of good that does me".
