Aaron Hernandez Fiancee Friend & Cousin Tanya Cummings-Singleton Put In Jail for Contempt [VIDEO]
Tanya Cummings-Singleton, the cousin of Aaron Hernandez and friend of his fiancee, is being held in jail for refusing to testify in Hernandez's murder case.
Cummings-Singleton was considered to be in contempt after she didn't adhere to a subpoena and was incarcerated at the South Bay House of Correction in Suffolk County on Aug 1, according to the Hartford Courant.

Authorities seized a cell phone and four credit cards from Cummings-Singleton when she attended Hernandez's probable cause hearing with his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, on July 24.
Prosecutors said Hernandez's cousin used a credit card in a former name to purchase a get-away bus ticket for his codefendant in the case, Ernest Wallace. Police have not been able to locate the mobile phone Wallace used on the night Lloyd was killed, which they said was registered in Cummings-Singleton's name.
Cummings-Singleton was residing with Hernandez's uncle in Bristol before her arrest. The Bristol home is where another defendant in Lloyd's murder case, Carols Ortiz, was arrested in the days following the shooting. Police also searched the house on several occasions.
Police planned to question Cummings-Singleton's husband, Thaddeus Singleton III, about Lloyd's murder but he died unexpectedly in a car crash in Farmington, Conn., in June.

Ortiz is facing charges for illegal possession of a firearm in connection with the shooting. In his last probation visit before Lloyd's death, he said he was living with Cummings-Singleton. He told investigators he discussed Lloyd's shooting with Hernandez's cousin before he was arrested, according to court documents.
Court documents also revealed that Ortiz told investigators that Wallace said Hernandez was the shooter in Lloyd's murder. A Hernandez court video from a couple weeks back can be viewed below.
