Doja Cat Denied Permanent Restraining Order Against Her Older Brother, Judge Ruled This Instead
A Los Angeles judge has issued a ruling on the permanent restraining order request against Doja Cat's brother filed by their mother.
During a hearing on Jan. 31, Doja Cat's mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, was present, as revealed in court records obtained by The Shade Room.
The hearing took place at the Los Angeles Superior Court where Judge Karen Moskowitz presided over the proceedings.
Court records indicate that Judge Moskowitz denied a permanent restraining order request by Sawyer and Miles Dlamini against Raman Dalithando Dlamini. Per RadarOnline, Miles is Sawyer's grandson and Raman's 13-year-old son.
A Minute Order court filing reveals that Sawyer has been appointed as the legal guardian of Miles.
Instead, a restraining order was issued for four years, effective until midnight on Jan. 31, 2029. It extends nationwide, prohibiting Raman, 30, from abusing, harassing, threatening, or having any contact with Sawyer and Miles.
Raman Dalithando Dlamini is ordered to maintain a distance of 100 yards from Sawyer and Miles, including their residence, workplace, vehicle, and school.
While Judge Moskowitz approved the restraining order for Sawyer and her grandson, the order does not extend additional protection to Doja Cat, 28, as indicated by the court's decision.
In the Minute Order court filing, it is noted that Dlamini did not appear for the hearing. Upon being served the court order, he has a 30-day window to retrieve belongings from his mother's property with the presence of a law official.
Additionally, he is directed to enroll in a battery intervention program by March 15.
